Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using cloud, warehouse, database, and data integration technologies.
  • Integrate enterprise financial applications with data warehouses, relational databases, BI platforms, external data providers, and data feeds.
  • Implement automated data quality checks, regression testing, validation frameworks, anomaly monitoring, and data mappings.
  • Plan and deliver small to medium-sized projects end to end, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-implementation support.
  • Contribute technical components to larger cross-functional programs and recommend improvements that reduce manual work, technical debt, and process errors.
  • Support dashboard, reporting, KPI, and financial analytics development using BI platforms.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, analytics, and technology teams to understand needs and deliver actionable data solutions.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, data validation, and analysis workflows.
  • Mentor junior team members, contribute to Agile planning and design standards, and stay current with emerging data, AI, ML, and CPM technologies.
  • Participate in rotational on-call duties outside standard business hours when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4+ years of data engineering or architecture experience, or an alternative combination such as a master’s degree with 2 years, a Ph.D. with up to 1 year, or 16 years of related experience.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience across data engineering, business intelligence, enterprise analytics, reporting, dashboards, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with data integration tools such as MS SQL Developer, dbt, or Informatica.
  • Strong experience with Snowflake data modeling, data access, schemas, and storage techniques.
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing scalable cloud data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT patterns, data warehousing, data orchestration, relational databases, BI tools, data quality tools, and application lifecycle methodologies.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with complex system implementations and experience implementing new tools in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Git and AI-related tools such as GitHub Copilot, Snowflake Cortex, or M365 Copilot.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder presentation skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Apache Airflow, Dagster, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, data governance, metadata management, external APIs, CI/CD and DevOps practices, Agile planning, Kafka, or Kinesis.
