Base Salary

$120k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, secure, reliable, high-quality, and modular solutions for Azure Data services.
  • Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and resolve issues affecting reliability and maintainability.
  • Automate production and deployment processes and validate code in non-production environments.
  • Meet security, privacy, safety, accessibility, and product compliance standards.
  • Integrate telemetry and data analytics to monitor system health and guide product decisions.
  • Maintain live service operations, respond to incidents, resolve complex issues, and share postmortem insights.
  • Collaborate with engineers and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness and eligibility to upgrade to TS/SCI with polygraph, with the ability to maintain the clearance.
  • Successful Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Verified U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
  • Preferred: master's degree plus 6+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
