Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure, reliable, high-quality, and modular solutions for Azure Data services.
- Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and resolve issues affecting reliability and maintainability.
- Automate production and deployment processes and validate code in non-production environments.
- Meet security, privacy, safety, accessibility, and product compliance standards.
- Integrate telemetry and data analytics to monitor system health and guide product decisions.
- Maintain live service operations, respond to incidents, resolve complex issues, and share postmortem insights.
- Collaborate with engineers and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness and eligibility to upgrade to TS/SCI with polygraph, with the ability to maintain the clearance.
- Successful Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Verified U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
- Preferred: master's degree plus 6+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
