Responsibilities
- Develop code for intermediate-to-complex modules using established architecture and development standards.
- Design, document, review, and maintain software solution components across the application development lifecycle.
- Create test plans, conditions, and data; conduct module and integration testing; and track and resolve moderate defects.
- Conduct and participate in design and code reviews, ensuring documentation and quality standards are followed.
- Support production deployments, identify application issues, and provide technical assistance for complex problems.
- Provide technical expertise to Band B and Band C1 application developers.
- Gather requirements and work with business partners to design solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce compliance risks.
- Develop project or system change estimates and plans and support continuous improvement of estimating factors.
Requirements
- Java 8 is required; Java 17 is preferred.
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based architecture.
- Eight or more years of experience.
- A four-year bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the stated education requirements.
- Ability to handle complex application development, testing, code review, technical documentation, and production support responsibilities.
