Responsibilities
- Design and build intuitive platform capabilities for a diverse audience across Citi.
- Drive implementation of AI-enhanced user interface interactions and workflows.
- Lead technical components, align engineering work with business objectives, and promote best practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality object-oriented software using Java, Python, or Golang.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment practices.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems and bugs.
- Collaborate on shared components and codebases.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews, technical design reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior full-stack software engineer with a passion for modern development.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java or Python; willingness to learn Java is noted for Java-oriented candidates.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS is desirable.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as OpenShift.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, message queuing systems, networking, databases, and command-line interfaces.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to deliver clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Strong communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduate-level or continuing education, presentation skills, generative AI knowledge, and software team management experience are desirable.
