Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and robust software solutions for medical applications using full-stack development principles.
  • Design, implement, and maintain UI and rendering components for complex applications.
  • Decouple UI layers from graphics and rendering code to improve modularity and maintainability.
  • Implement and optimize rendering solutions using modern graphics APIs.
  • Apply medical image processing and visualization techniques.
  • Collaborate with product managers, product owners, designers, systems engineers, and software engineers.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve rendering, UI, and performance issues in production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of professional experience designing and implementing complex software components.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SDL, CUDA, Vulkan, and OpenGL.
  • Expertise in scene rendering and graphics pipeline development.
  • Experience modernizing or refactoring legacy rendering or UI architectures.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex systems from design through deployment.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ or another compiled language.
  • Production software development experience in Python is preferred.
  • Proficiency with image-processing algorithms and libraries such as OpenCV and ITK.
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX principles for graphics-driven applications.
  • Knowledge of robotic systems and experience with machine learning or deep learning for medical-image segmentation, registration, or classification.
  • Experience with medical image visualization tools and algorithm development is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
