Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test solutions for complex workforce management problems.
  • Explore forecasting, scheduling, and prediction systems.
  • Use data, mathematical modeling, algorithms, and experimentation to evaluate solutions.
  • Build scalable, production-ready software and prototypes from research and ideas.
  • Experiment with AI and machine learning techniques for workforce planning and decision-making.
  • Analyze experimental results and use evidence to guide engineering and product decisions.
  • Write maintainable code, automated tests, and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate across Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Operations Research, and Product.
  • Contribute to a cloud-based, distributed software environment and communicate technical findings clearly.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, statistics, operations research, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with comfort in mathematics, statistics, or data analysis.
  • Programming experience in Python, Java, C++, C#, or a similar language.
  • Curiosity, ability to learn new technologies quickly, and effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include algorithms, data structures, mathematical modeling, optimization, statistics, machine learning, AI/ML, large language models, experimentation, data analysis, AWS, Git, automated testing, scalable systems, distributed software, optimization libraries, numerical computing, or scientific programming.
