Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test features for the Genesys Cloud Analytics platform.
- Contribute to services and data pipelines processing large volumes of customer interaction data.
- Develop and test software using Java, Python, or a similar language.
- Participate in code reviews and learn modern software engineering practices.
- Gain exposure to AWS, distributed systems, data processing, and CI/CD.
- Understand and comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws and Genesys' Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Requirements
- Actively pursue a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Have programming experience through coursework, projects, or previous internships using Java, Python, or a similar language.
- Have a foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development.
- Show interest in cloud computing, data engineering, analytics, or distributed systems.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms and familiarity with SQL, databases, Spark, Hadoop, or Airflow.
