Base Salary
$180k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical, product, and launch success of high-risk, full-stack 0-to-1 initiatives as the Engineer DRI.
- Build new software products, technical primitives, and platform systems for creators, high-leverage users, and enterprises.
- Help Replit Agent build alternatives to popular SaaS products across data, decks, videos, and other categories.
- Enable Replit Agent to act as a principal within third-party services with read and write capabilities.
- Support Replit use across chat, agentic, and commerce environments.
- Iterate rapidly through three-week initiatives, deployment, user feedback, and market validation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Understanding of the full agentic software development stack and how coding agents build, test, and review correct code.
- Strong track record leading complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience building and operating platform systems that other teams depend on.
- Strong product judgment across user experience, speed, correctness, and long-term maintainability.
- Comfort with modern web technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Postgres.
- Technical company founding experience or high-visibility side projects are preferred but not required.
