Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture, roadmap, standards, design patterns, and end-to-end delivery of the PRIIP Cloud platform.
- Build and improve user interfaces, backend services, APIs, integrations, databases, data processing, cloud-native infrastructure, and operational tooling.
- Lead technical decisions and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, observable, performant, reliable, and maintainable.
- Drive automated testing, CI/CD adoption, infrastructure-as-code, engineering automation, software quality, and developer productivity.
- Own production operations, including monitoring, observability, alerting, incident management, troubleshooting, capacity planning, service restoration, runbooks, and resilience improvements.
- Partner with Product, Operations, Compliance, Architecture, Product Owners, quantitative analysts, and regulatory specialists to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineers, support recruitment and onboarding, and contribute to team members’ career development and continuous learning.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience with significant full-stack development experience.
- Previous experience as a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, Principal Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Proven experience owning production systems and supporting live business-critical platforms.
- Strong experience designing and building cloud-native distributed systems and hands-on experience across frontend and backend technologies.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React or modern web frameworks, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience working in financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical leadership capabilities.
- Preferred experience includes structured products, equity-linked products, OTC derivatives, regulatory documentation, PRIIPs, financial reporting platforms, SaaS operations, Kafka, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, Keycloak, Datadog, Grafana, Elastic, OpenTelemetry, and AI-assisted software development practices.
