Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, and databases.
- Validate new features and perform regression testing using automation frameworks.
- Conduct performance testing and assess the scalability and reliability of cloud-based applications.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate large and complex datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git or Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Report defects, recommend improvements, and communicate quality status with technical teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
- Proficiency in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, and REST API testing.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing and debugging complex queries.
- Experience with performance testing tools and cloud-based application testing.
- Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent-working, and detail-oriented skills.
- Preferred: experience testing AI/ML-based applications.
- Preferred: experience with JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
