Responsibilities
- Identify new optimizations for the OxCaml compiler.
- Code, test, benchmark, and deploy enhancements.
- Work with various intermediate representations like CPS and SSA.
- Collaborate with different teams across Jane Street.
- Utilize AI assistance to expedite production changes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a software engineer with a focus on compilers.
- Familiarity with debuggers such as lldb or gdb.
- Experience with low-level Linux tools.
- Knowledge of x86-64 and AArch64 architectures is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Experience managing a team of developers is preferred.
