Responsibilities
- Identify and implement new compiler optimizations in OxCaml.
- Work across intermediate representations including CPS, SSA, and potentially Sea of Nodes.
- Handle the full optimization lifecycle, including coding, testing, benchmarking, and deployment.
- Potentially manage a team of developers alongside hands-on technical work.
Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with compiler or comparable software development experience.
- Proven ability to write correct code productively and use debuggers and low-level Linux tools.
- Experience with a compiler toolchain is welcome, with LLVM knowledge useful but not required.
- Knowledge of x86-64 and AArch64 architectures at the assembly-language and architectural levels is a plus.
- Proven experience managing a team of developers is particularly valued.
- Fluency in English is required; prior OCaml or OxCaml knowledge is not required.
