Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, high-performance microservices for a high-volume financial production environment.
- Own critical components end-to-end and architect systems for reliability and future scale.
- Lead technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions.
- Apply spec-driven development, SOLID principles, and established design patterns.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code with unit and integration testing.
- Improve production quality, observability, and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead and mentor engineers while setting high engineering standards.
- Use AI tools across software design, coding, testing, and review.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in computer science or equivalent.
- Strong backend experience with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
- Experience with relational and document databases including SQL Server and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience building event-driven microservices with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and SOLID principles.
- Active, hands-on use of AI coding tools and AI-driven workflows.
- Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
