Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of software applications and identify defects.
- Develop, integrate, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using UFT.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct software verification and validation activities.
- Analyze test results, report defects, troubleshoot issues, and verify fixes with developers.
- Collaborate with developers, scientists, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to validate software functionality.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5–12 years of experience in software testing, verification, and validation.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with UFT automation tools for test script development and execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and workload-management skills.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards for medical device development.
- ISTQB or similar certification is preferred.
