Responsibilities

  • Analyze product specifications and requirements to establish testing requirements for features and releases.
  • Define and implement test plans, create and execute test cases, report defects, and verify resolved defects.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, security, internationalization/localization, integration, system, API, and database testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for manual test cases, including UI automation with Selenium and API automation with Rest Assured.
  • Collaborate with peer engineers to solve complex quality issues and deliver end-to-end product quality.
  • Report test results, testing metrics, and status updates to QA leadership and project management.
  • Deliver assigned work on time and with high quality.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Graduate/BE, PG Engineer, or MCA education.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in Java and Python.
  • Experience with test automation, preferably Selenium and the Rest Assured framework.
  • Experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
  • Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing, plus exposure to performance and localization testing.
  • Knowledge of test management, defect tracking, automation, API, and database testing tools and concepts.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle processes and development methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux commands.
  • Fundamental knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application to QA processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, independent task execution, teamwork, and communication skills.
