Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test suites for the eLIMS-NG product.
- Create automation scripts using C#, Selenium, and Protractor.
- Support automated smoke and regression testing and enhancements to the test automation framework.
- Review requirements, design test cases, assess coverage, and provide testing input for new and existing features.
- Perform end-to-end, sanity, regression, API, web service, database, and functional testing.
- Use SQL joins and subqueries to validate test results against the underlying database.
- Identify coverage gaps, perform root cause analysis for escaped defects, and create additional test scenarios.
- Track, manage, and resolve defects using TFS.
- Coordinate issue resolution with QA, development, product management, and other teams.
Requirements
- BE, MCA, or equivalent degree or experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in manual testing.
- Experience testing APIs or web services using Postman or another API tool.
- Experience designing test cases using various testing techniques.
- Good knowledge of SQL, including joins and subqueries.
- Exposure to automation testing processes and scripts using C#, Selenium, and Protractor is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
