Responsibilities

  • Define automation architecture, testing standards, and automation strategies.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute UI, API, and end-to-end automated test suites.
  • Use and enhance automation frameworks, tools, platforms, and design patterns.
  • Embed quality gates and testing throughout the CI/CD pipeline and deployment process.
  • Provide actionable code review feedback to Development and QA team members.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure comprehensive feature coverage.
  • Perform manual verification and validation of features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
  • Research testing technologies, industry trends, and emerging quality practices.
  • Mentor teams and lead end-to-end quality engineering initiatives independently.
  • Support product releases and provide third-level production support.
  • Perform performance, scalability, load, and stress testing using JMeter.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, estimation, and backlog grooming.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software automation testing or software development.
  • Expertise in UI and API test automation using Playwright with C#.
  • Hands-on experience with BDD-based automation frameworks such as SpecFlow.
  • Experience authoring and maintaining API and end-to-end automated test suites.
  • Experience testing complex, distributed, cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience executing test automation at scale in fast-paced delivery environments.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience contributing to or enhancing in-house automation frameworks, tools, and utilities.
  • Proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience with performance and scalability testing.
  • JMeter scripting and test execution experience for load, stress, or performance testing.
