Responsibilities
- Define automation architecture, testing standards, and automation strategies.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute UI, API, and end-to-end automated test suites.
- Use and enhance automation frameworks, tools, platforms, and design patterns.
- Embed quality gates and testing throughout the CI/CD pipeline and deployment process.
- Provide actionable code review feedback to Development and QA team members.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure comprehensive feature coverage.
- Perform manual verification and validation of features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Research testing technologies, industry trends, and emerging quality practices.
- Mentor teams and lead end-to-end quality engineering initiatives independently.
- Support product releases and provide third-level production support.
- Perform performance, scalability, load, and stress testing using JMeter.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, estimation, and backlog grooming.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software automation testing or software development.
- Expertise in UI and API test automation using Playwright with C#.
- Hands-on experience with BDD-based automation frameworks such as SpecFlow.
- Experience authoring and maintaining API and end-to-end automated test suites.
- Experience testing complex, distributed, cloud-based solutions.
- Experience executing test automation at scale in fast-paced delivery environments.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Experience contributing to or enhancing in-house automation frameworks, tools, and utilities.
- Proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with performance and scalability testing.
- JMeter scripting and test execution experience for load, stress, or performance testing.
