Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for backend, API, frontend, data-processing, integration, contract, and data-validation scenarios.
- Analyze failed tests and production-like issues using logs, metrics, monitoring dashboards, and API responses.
- Conduct code reviews and pioneer new testing approaches, architectures, and frameworks.
- Shape technical vision, make high-level trade-offs, and prioritize testing based on business needs, risks, and timelines.
- Define QA best practices, improve processes, maintain documentation, and produce clear defect reports.
- Evaluate and guide adoption of AI-assisted test generation, code review, automation frameworks, and no-code workflow automation.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to improve testability, observability, and service reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of AQA/SDET experience testing complex backend, API, data-heavy, or distributed systems.
- Strong Java programming skills for test automation and hands-on experience building test automation frameworks.
- Solid SQL and PostgreSQL experience, including advanced queries, data validation, and investigation of data inconsistencies.
- Strong test design skills and understanding of backend architecture, environment-based configuration, service health checks, and deployment validation.
- Experience with Playwright, Postman, REST-assured, Allure, Git, and Scrum or another Agile delivery process.
- Hands-on experience with Cursor and Claude, including creating custom skills, agents, and rules for QA and development workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AI no-code tools and business process automation such as n8n.
- Proficiency in English.
- QA technical leadership experience, performance testing experience, and Python knowledge are preferred.
