Responsibilities
- Drive the Quality Assurance automation strategy.
- Translate system requirements and test cases into automated scripts for product stability and quality.
- Develop and test code, and implement automation scenarios across the software development life cycle.
- Integrate the automation framework with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, development, business analysis, architecture, Product Owner, and stakeholder teams.
- Contribute to application architecture and test design.
- Build and maintain scalable QA automation frameworks and reusable test components.
- Implement automated reporting, logging, screenshots, video recordings, and failure diagnostics.
- Provide leadership in evaluating emerging automation trends, developing testing estimates, and delivering QA framework architecture and implementation.
- Apply coding, version control, solution design, software testing, quality metrics, and risk-based testing best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software testing experience with practical test automation experience across UI, API, and non-functional testing.
- Extensive hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks with Selenium WebDriver using Java and Appium.
- Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile test automation approaches.
- Hands-on experience with Page Object Model, Page Factory, and reusable automation components.
- Experience using BrowserStack and Sauce Labs for cross-browser and cross-device testing.
- Experience with API testing using REST, SOAP, Postman, and RestAssured.
- Experience with performance and non-functional testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools including Jira, Zephyr, Azure Test Plans, and Confluence.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using GitHub Actions, Git, GitHub, and containerized environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with distributed international teams.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality metrics, risk-based testing, and ISTQB best practices.
- Fluent English, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead quality initiatives.
- Cypress, Playwright with TypeScript, and Robot Framework with Python experience are nice to have.
