Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the client’s SonarQube implementation and current configuration.
- Assess code-quality rules, quality gates, security findings, technical debt, and development controls.
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Work with client stakeholders to understand the implementation and communicate review findings.
- Independently deliver a focused technical assessment during a short-term client engagement.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on expertise with SonarQube, including configuration, quality profiles, quality gates, and code-analysis capabilities.
- Experience reviewing SonarQube implementations and assessing code quality, maintainability, vulnerabilities, and technical debt.
- Ability to independently conduct technical assessments and provide practical recommendations.
- Experience working with engineering stakeholders in complex technology environments.
- Experience delivering SonarQube assessments in financial services or insurance.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and SonarQube integration into software delivery workflows is a bonus.
- Experience reviewing bespoke enterprise applications, understanding secure software development and code-quality governance, and using AI-enabled engineering workflows are bonuses.
