Base Salary
$100k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead automation testing efforts across web, mobile, API, and backend applications.
- Design, develop, and enhance automation frameworks and automated test suites.
- Create automated tests using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, REST Assured, Postman, and related tools.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, including SQL and database validation.
- Define test strategies, testing approaches, effort estimates, quality metrics, status reports, and quality dashboards.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and provide technical guidance, leadership, mentoring, and direction to QA and automation team members.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional testing teams.
- Drive continuous improvement across automation processes, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Java.
- 4+ years of experience building and maintaining Selenium automation frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with mobile automation using Appium.
- Strong experience with API testing and automation, REST APIs, JSON/XML validation, backend testing, SQL, and database validation.
- Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up and leading testing teams or automation initiatives.
- Experience with test estimation, planning, reporting, project coordination, JIRA or similar defect management tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently while leading cross-functional efforts.
- Preferred qualifications include Playwright, Mabl, insurance or financial services experience, JMeter or LoadRunner, accessibility testing, large-scale digital transformation programs, and testing on real mobile devices, emulators, and simulators.
