Responsibilities
- Build backend microservices and components that support interactive and near-real-time customer experiences.
- Design and deliver domain microservices, APIs, and event-driven integrations.
- Engineer asynchronous workflows and event consumers/producers for distributed systems.
- Own and optimize service-owned data stores and support migration from legacy monolithic platforms.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, and code review.
- Monitor live services, resolve incidents, and improve observability and production stability.
Requirements
- Experience with generative AI development and integration involving microservices and APIs.
- Proficiency with one or more of Scala, Java with Spring Boot, .NET, or Python.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Cassandra, HBase, Spark, or Yarn.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms, event streaming, and cloud-native development.
- Strong collaborative problem-solving, ownership, adaptability, systems thinking, technical communication, and operational discipline.
