Responsibilities
- Build, extend, and refactor user-facing features in React and TypeScript applications.
- Create reusable UI components and shared frontend patterns for multiple applications.
- Maintain component quality, consistency, accessibility, usability, performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser behavior.
- Contribute to shared packages in a monorepo environment.
- Integrate frontend features with backend services using GraphQL, Apollo, and REST APIs.
- Translate UX and product requirements into production-ready UI implementations.
- Review and improve legacy frontend code without introducing regressions.
- Collaborate with backend developers, product owners, and designers on end-to-end solutions.
- Define frontend conventions for component reuse, state flow, API integration, and maintainability.
- Review code and mentor other frontend developers.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frontend patterns.
- Experience building reusable component architectures, shared component libraries, or common UI packages.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with React state management and established codebases.
- Ability to trace application flows, debug issues, and implement safe changes.
- Familiarity with monorepo-based development workflows and strong attention to typing, maintainability, and developer ergonomics.
- Experience writing testable code with automated testing and participating in code reviews.
- Experience mentoring frontend developers.
- Preferred experience with Apollo Client, Redux or similar state-management tools, Turborepo, pnpm, Vitest, Cypress, Testing Library, Tailwind, accessibility requirements, and enterprise or workflow-heavy applications.
