Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, functional, technical, and non-functional requirements and maintain requirements-to-design-and-test traceability.
- Develop and maintain software components, REST-based APIs, Java Spring Boot microservices, and responsive web interfaces.
- Create automation scripts and support CI/CD, application monitoring, maintenance, re-engineering, and deployment activities.
- Prepare and execute test cases, perform regression testing, track defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot application performance and availability issues.
- Monitor application and program metrics, logs, milestones, and change requests to support delivery and ongoing software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field plus two years of software engineering or related experience, or a master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing REST-based APIs with Java and Spring Boot for microservices and server-side logic.
- Experience building responsive web interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular 8, and reusing components with AngularJS, Bootstrap, JSP, and jQuery.
- Experience writing test cases with JUnit and using Selenium, Jira, and Eggplant for testing activities.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Hibernate, MySQL, Azure DB, Elasticsearch, Datastore, GCP database services, SQL, database design, and data mapping.
- Experience applying algorithms, Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and software development lifecycle processes; the employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
