Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-cloud support for new database engines beyond AWS DocumentDB.
- Contribute to migrating legacy architectures toward modern deployment and orchestration standards such as Istio and serverless architectures.
- Develop centralized query-management and database-segmentation mechanisms to improve platform efficiency.
- Implement platform security improvements, including encryption and robust access controls.
- Resolve complex, high-impact technical problems in a critical, high-traffic service while collaborating with other engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience developing highly available, low-latency distributed systems.
- Experience using, administering, and modeling non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud architectures and container orchestration.
- Advanced experience using artificial intelligence tools as part of the daily engineering workflow.
