Responsibilities
- Analyze customer data, processes, requirements, and applications to propose warehouse automation solutions.
- Prepare technical response documents, customer presentations, demonstrations, and presales materials.
- Define proof-of-concept architectures, technical requirements, development activities, and risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to transition prototypes and solutions into deployment.
- Identify new solution opportunities and applications, and collaborate with Product Management on prioritization and commercialization.
- Develop models and use operational and financial metrics to support complex problem-solving and business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations, or a related field.
- Experience designing warehouse automation, particularly conveyor layouts.
- Strong business acumen and ability to use operational and financial metrics to drive decisions.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and technical drawings such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Comfort working with mechanical systems and developing models to solve complex problems.
- Ability to interface successfully with customers and communicate effectively with engineering and operational teams.
- Ability to travel 25% or more.
