Responsibilities
- Develop and improve reliable, high-performing, maintainable C++ middleware.
- Contribute to technical direction, software architecture, and technology choices.
- Design efficient algorithms and optimized data structures for complex systems.
- Optimize memory management, multithreading, and processor use.
- Solve complex technical problems and reduce technical debt and implementation risks.
- Improve code quality through code reviews, debugging, profiling, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience applying modern C++, including C++17, C++20, and C++23.
- Ability to design software architecture, efficient algorithms, and optimized data structures for complex systems.
- Ability to optimize memory management, multithreading, and processor use.
- Ability to solve complex problems, communicate clearly, collaborate, and contribute to technical decisions.
- Console development or multiplayer game project experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, Visual Studio, CMake, LLVM tools, GitLab-CI, or agile methods is an asset.
- Knowledge of Snowdrop, Anvil, Unreal, or Unity game engines, AWS or Azure cloud services, distributed systems, or network optimization is an asset.
