Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and ship scalable AI-powered features for discovering, organizing, and optimizing access to large datasets.
- Prototype, test, validate, ship, and iterate on LLM- and agent-powered workflows for the data engineering lifecycle.
- Develop analytics-focused AI agents that assist users with information retrieval.
- Integrate agentic components with internal tools such as Slack and alerting systems.
- Collaborate with internal data teams for dogfooding and work across teams in a highly autonomous skunkworks environment.
- Use AI and automation tools to improve product functionality and development workflows.
- Own AI solutions end to end, ensuring they are innovative, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with real user workflows.
Requirements
- Experience with LLMs, context engineering, and applications powered by GenAI.
- A proven track record of delivering production software actively used by users.
- Exposure to cloud-native environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using observability tools to understand and troubleshoot system behavior.
- Strong software engineering skills and experience building production-grade, user-facing systems.
- Experience with AI technologies and frameworks and a practical focus on delivering reliable solutions.
- Experience with agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows is a bonus.
- Experience as a data analyst or with data platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, or Databricks is a bonus.
- Experience building tools for data engineering is a bonus.
