Base Salary
$100k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver well-scoped product features in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering Managers.
- Advocate for and practice test-driven development to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Design and build scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails or other programming languages.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest technological trends to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Golang, Node.js, or Python, with a preference for Ruby on Rails.
- Strong foundation in programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience in building scalable systems and commitment to test-driven CI/CD.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience in designing distributed systems.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred.
