Responsibilities
- Build foundational technical components of an extensive SRE program across multiple complex systems.
- Collaborate with development and quant teams to establish and maintain measurable SLOs.
- Monitor system capacity and performance and address potential bottlenecks and instability.
- Review peers’ automation code for quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and analyze their effects on infrastructure and service operations.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select technologies and automation strategies.
Requirements
- Demonstrated work experience as a site reliability engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell.
- Ability to comprehend C# and write basic applications in C#.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and AWS cloud-based services and infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and Ansible for configuration management.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and AWS ECS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, ownership, and commitment to high ethical standards.
