Responsibilities
- Design and communicate technology solutions with architectural significance.
- Create designs that meet quality, resilience, and technical objectives.
- Contribute to the forward-looking solution architecture definition.
- Work with cloud and platform engineering technologies, microservices, container platforms, and API gateway patterns.
- Deliver prescribed outcomes, projects, workstreams, and strategic planning elements within established systems.
- Conduct complex budget, feasibility, compliance, risk, and operational analyses.
- Identify shortcomings and implement improvements to business practices, processes, standards, and procedures.
- Provide specialised training and coaching and develop the capabilities of direct reports or other employees.
- Write and edit materials for varied audiences and tailor content to their needs.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of professional experience.
- Architecture and cloud/platform engineering experience with GCP or Azure, Kubernetes, and container platforms.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and exposing them through API gateway patterns as REST or SOAP APIs.
- Experience delivering outcomes within established systems and working with risk, compliance, quality assurance, and change management processes.
