Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code for Data Engineering Agents and related AI and data-platform capabilities.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review other developers’ code for quality, style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update technical documentation and educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their effects on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Build agent harnesses, reasoning engines, agent skills, evaluation frameworks, agent APIs, and Gemini integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of experience with software development or one year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- Two years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, or storage.
- Experience with backend development, distributed systems, and machine learning infrastructure.
- Preferred experience programming in Java, C++, or Python.
- Preferred experience with generative AI agents, AI platforms, machine learning, or intelligent agents.
- Preferred experience with Jupyter or other collaborative notebook-based workflows.
- Preferred expertise in AI/ML product and platform development and quality evaluation framework improvement.
- Preferred understanding of enterprise workloads and interest in serving enterprise customers.
