Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
- Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience, or one year of industry experience with an advanced degree.
- Two years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale storage systems, distributed databases, or file systems.
- Preferred: experience writing and maintaining code in Go, C++, or Java.
- Preferred: experience with container orchestration, microservices, and deploying distributed systems using Kubernetes.
