Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance testing of highly complex software applications.
- Create test plans and detailed test scripts based on functional requirements and programming specifications.
- Test software for proper operation and freedom from defects before implementation.
- Document and help resolve software problems.
- Develop improvements to current procedures and models of possible future configurations.
- Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements.
- Establish software quality standards for the software lifecycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance.
- Establish advanced software test standards and methods and conduct complex software tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of related experience in quality assurance and testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing ability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical-thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate with onshore and offshore teams.
- Ability to work independently and productively.
- Adaptability to change and implementing new technologies and processes.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and inquisitiveness.
