Base Salary
$173k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop Everlaw’s database and storage strategy.
- Drive the implementation of sharding and replication systems for horizontal scaling.
- Analyze and improve database performance through code-level optimizations.
- Design and develop database migration tooling for low-downtime operations.
- Develop internal tooling for database observability and health monitoring.
- Stay updated with industry trends and evaluate new technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in database engineering.
- Deep understanding of storage engines and locking mechanisms of major RDBMS (Postgres or MySQL preferred).
- Experience managing databases in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
