Base Salary
$150k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the C++ endpoint agent that detects, installs, validates, and rolls back patches across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Review code for correctness, maintainability, and architectural health.
- Mentor and guide senior and mid-level engineers.
- Identify process gaps, propose fixes, and drive improvements through completion.
- Collaborate with mainline, catalog, and other patching squads on shared ownership and integration points.
- Translate roadmap priorities and customer needs into sound technical designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of C++ development experience.
- Experience with modern C++ including C++17 and above.
- Experience with cross-platform development across Windows, macOS, and Linux, including Win32 API and POSIX.
- Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
- Experience with SQLite and embedded database patterns.
- Experience with CMake.
- Proficiency with Qt and experience with Vcpkg are strong pluses.
