Base Salary
$139k - $154k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction and feature roadmap of large-scale cloud systems.
- Lead development efforts involving internal and external team members and provide technical guidance.
- Define requirements and assess the feasibility, design, and implementation of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and customers to define detailed feature requirements.
- Design, install, evaluate, and support maintainable software solutions.
- Review code for validity, structure, industry-standard compliance, and compatibility across browsers, devices, and operating systems.
- Mentor Software Engineers through advice, coaching, and training.
- Investigate alternative technologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Advanced-level, seasoned, and specialized experience in software development and methodologies is required.
- A high school diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field, or equivalent advanced-level experience, are required.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language and software development practices is required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, prioritization, presentation, and influencing skills are required.
- Ability to lead multiple assignments, mentor others, and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences is required.
- Preferred experience includes Python, Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, microservices, distributed applications, Micro Front End applications, and Playwright.
- Preferred experience includes AWS DynamoDB, AWS cloud services, relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, and Kubernetes.
