Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate robotics algorithms and ML-based systems for perception, state estimation, planning, and control.
  • Integrate camera, LiDAR, and IMU data into autonomy and decision-making stacks.
  • Build and maintain robot software stacks for AMRs, robotic arms, quadrupeds, and humanoids.
  • Implement and tune localization, mapping, sensor fusion, motion planning, trajectory optimization, and learning-based behaviors.
  • Consume and validate ML-based perception outputs such as detection, depth, and tracking.
  • Deploy and optimize robotics software on embedded and edge computing platforms.
  • Integrate autonomy stacks into real robots for demonstrations, testing, and customer use.
  • Debug system-level autonomy issues across sensors, algorithms, and software interactions.
  • Collaborate with perception, ML, software, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in robotics algorithms, autonomy, or robotics software engineering.
  • Strong foundation in state estimation, sensor fusion, motion planning, control, localization, and mapping.
  • Strong software engineering skills in C++ and/or Python.
  • Experience deploying robotics algorithms on real robotic platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience with ROS or ROS 2 and modern robotics middleware.
  • Preferred background in learning-based robotics, reinforcement learning, or imitation learning.
  • Preferred experience integrating ML models into real-time robotic systems.
  • Preferred familiarity with Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Mujoco, or similar simulation tools and workflows.
  • Preferred experience across mobile, manipulation, and legged robot morphologies.
  • Comfort working in a startup environment with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
