Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and strategically refactor scalable Python components with reliable error handling across scripting environments.
- Develop enterprise build automation, Python packaging, artifact generation, and secure publishing workflows using PyPI and Conda standards.
- Create PowerShell scripts and unit tests using Pester.
- Improve platform architecture, dependency management, modularity, observability, technical debt, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and CI/CD teams to automate publishing and enforce compliance, traceability, and reproducibility standards.
- Maintain documentation and troubleshoot packaging, dependency, and software-distribution workflows.
- Conduct security-focused code reviews, threat-awareness activities, automated SCA and CVE monitoring, SBOM management, and secure secrets integration.
- Enforce code quality, coverage gates, signed artifacts, hardened pipelines, and hardened base images.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of professional experience.
- Strong Python development and PowerShell scripting expertise.
- Experience with Anaconda or Miniconda, Conda package management, Python packaging standards, build automation, configuration-file generation, and Docker containerization.
- Experience implementing observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Understanding of SBOM concepts, software licensing, vulnerability management, and secure software distribution.
- Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with Pylint or Flake8, mypy, Jenkins-based Python CI/CD, artifact publishing, regulated or security-focused environments, enterprise software distribution, Windows process management, GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools, and Jira.
