Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and comprehensive test suites for software features.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate testing early in the development lifecycle and identify potential defects.
- Analyze complex software systems to build comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and testing infrastructure to increase engineering velocity and product reliability.
- Investigate test failures, diagnose root causes, and advocate for quality and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
- Experience with a programming language such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with standard testing tools, automation platforms, and debugging systems.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Preferred: Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred: Familiarity with testing large-scale distributed systems, backend infrastructure, or microservices architectures.
- Preferred: Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
