Senior Software Engineer
Foundation HealthResponsibilities
- Own features end-to-end from product requirements through data models, API design, production deployment, rollout, and customer delivery.
- Build LLM-powered features with evaluations, guardrails, and careful consideration of failure modes.
- Integrate with healthcare systems and workflows, including Epic, prior authorization logic, and pharmacy operations.
- Monitor feature health through metrics, error logs, and user feedback.
- Make independent architectural and product decisions in a fast-moving, loosely defined environment.
Requirements
- Experience shipping and discussing production systems in depth, including technical choices, tradeoffs, and lessons learned.
- Strong product instinct and willingness to challenge unclear or ineffective requirements.
- Comfort working autonomously with incomplete requirements and owning outcomes.
- Regular use of AI tools in the engineering workflow.
- Experience with or willingness to work across Node, TypeScript, and GCP.
