Base Salary
$95k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy client-specific AI agents for variance analysis, close reporting, forecasting, and other financial workflows.
- Integrate AI agents with EPM and CPM platforms to read from and write back to client systems of record.
- Develop automated reconciliation and validation workflows for period-end close, intercompany eliminations, and management reporting.
- Implement RAG pipelines, tool-use patterns, and multi-step agent architectures grounded in client financial data.
- Embed with finance, FP&A, and accounting teams to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into technical architectures.
- Manage the full agent lifecycle from prototyping and stakeholder demonstrations through testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.
- Contribute reusable components to Accordion’s agent framework and shared component library.
- Establish quality standards for financial AI outputs, including accuracy validation, hallucination mitigation, audit trails, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Document architectures, integration patterns, and deployment playbooks and enable knowledge transfer across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year building applications powered by large language models, AI agents, or intelligent automation.
- Strong Python skills and experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and related tooling.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, close management, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Solid SQL skills and experience integrating APIs, data warehouses, ERPs, and financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with CFOs, controllers, and FP&A leaders.
- Willingness to travel to client sites up to 50–80% depending on the engagement.
- Preferred experience includes financial planning and reporting systems such as Oracle EPM Cloud, OneStream, Anaplan, Planful, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Preferred qualifications include consulting or professional services experience; familiarity with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle EBS, and Microsoft Dynamics; production AI experience in regulated or audit-sensitive environments; cloud infrastructure experience; and financial data modeling, multidimensional database, or business intelligence experience.
