Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to identify high-value opportunities, understand workflows, and define business outcomes for AI solutions.
- Architect and build production AI systems including multi-agent workflows, orchestration, tool use, context engineering, memory and state, RAG, APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Complete the eight-week Turing Akademia placement through intensive technical training and production-oriented projects.
- Lead solutions from discovery through deployment and measurable impact while owning evaluation, observability, security, reliability, latency, scalability, and cost.
- Present work to stakeholders, manage expectations, explain technical decisions, and respond constructively to pushback.
- Transition to live Turing Enterprise AI client projects after successfully completing the initial placement.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, full-stack developer, or equivalent production engineering role.
- Strong foundation in programming, APIs, databases, backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and software development practices.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, navigate ambiguity, work with stakeholders, and remain calm under pressure.
- Demonstrated initiative, ownership, problem-solving ability, responsiveness to feedback, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Prior experience with AI, LLMs, RAG, or agentic systems is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work in the New York City area or within reasonable commuting distance and work in person three to five days per week depending on client requirements.
