Responsibilities
- Develop motion-planning functions for lane keeping, speed management, lane changes, and lane planning.
- Use sensor and map information, vehicle motion control, or data-driven machine learning approaches for autonomous driving and ADAS.
- Collaborate with Perception, Control, Simulation, Infrastructure, and Tooling teams to build integrated solutions.
- Improve the safety and reliability of system-level AD/ADAS functionality and performance.
- Practice maintainable software development through simulation, CI, code reviews, HIL testing, and in-vehicle testing.
- Contribute across the development lifecycle from advanced research through product development.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, robotics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in path planning, vehicle control, or ADAS.
- At least three years of C++ software development experience using GitHub and support tools for software quality assurance.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded software implementation, vehicle dynamics, data-driven development, AD/ADAS production products, and control engineering knowledge including PID, LQR, or MPC.
- Experience with agile software management tools is preferred.
