Responsibilities
- Apply AI coding assistants and large language models to coding, debugging, automation, and developer productivity workflows.
- Design and refine prompts to improve AI performance and output quality.
- Develop product features involving Model Context Protocol capabilities, related frameworks and harnesses, agentic developer environments, and supporting tooling and infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve coding and AI-related issues.
- Take technical ownership of implementation challenges and communicate solutions clearly.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software-development experience.
- Hands-on experience with AI and agentic development.
- Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or comparable tools.
- Strong understanding of AI principles and underlying technologies, with applied large-language-model experience rather than foundation-model development.
- Prompt-engineering skills for optimizing AI output.
- Hands-on development experience in Java or Go; Java is preferred.
- Experience with Git and strong problem-solving and technical-ownership skills.
- Enterprise experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with additional AI-assisted development platforms and tools is a nice-to-have.
Benefits
- Contract engagement at 40 hours per week.
- Candidates must be based in LATAM and provide full US Central Time coverage.
- Anticipated engagement runs through March 31, 2027.
- The role is not currently contract-to-hire.
