Responsibilities
- Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains, and internal developer platforms.
- Partner with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and improve development workflows.
- Improve reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across distributed systems.
- Monitor system performance and health and proactively resolve issues.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
- Strong background in Python, Go, or C++.
- Experience with Unix-like environments, software, and toolchains.
- Knowledge of GitLab CI or Jenkins, AWS or GCP, and Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to translate ambiguous goals into software requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
