Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end Salesforce Data Cloud architectures, including data streams, data models, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, and activation targets.
- Architect Tableau Next or Power BI analytics solutions with semantic models, embedded analytics, AI-powered querying, and Salesforce workflow integrations.
- Define enterprise data architecture across Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, GCP, Azure, and AWS.
- Establish scalable batch, streaming, real-time, transformation, harmonization, and identity-resolution practices.
- Define and enforce data governance, security, privacy, consent management, PII masking, and compliance frameworks.
- Serve as the technical advisor and subject matter expert for Data Cloud and Tableau Next.
- Lead technical design sessions and create architecture diagrams, data-flow documentation, and solution blueprints.
- Provide hands-on implementation guidance and code/configuration reviews to developers and administrators.
- Evaluate Salesforce releases including Data Cloud, Tableau Next, Agentforce, and Einstein AI.
- Troubleshoot complex data quality, performance, and integration issues.
- Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, data engineering teams, enterprise architecture, and security teams.
- Guide integration architecture using APIs, MuleSoft, and other integration platforms.
- Provide architectural oversight for vendor, systems integrator, and Salesforce partner implementation projects.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, data architecture, or enterprise solution architecture roles.
- Hands-on architectural experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data streams, DMOs/DLOs, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, and activations.
- Strong working expertise in Tableau Next, including semantic modeling, embedded analytics, and AI/natural-language-driven insights.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud and their integration with Data Cloud and Tableau Next.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and real-time, batch, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Understanding of data governance, security architecture, privacy, and compliance requirements in large enterprise environments.
- Experience architecting solutions in complex, matrixed enterprise environments.
- Automotive or similarly regulated-industry experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
