Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create technical design specifications aligned with product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, and planning across engineering initiatives and feature delivery.
- Identify application improvements and provide actionable recommendations to development teams.
- Assist and mentor development staff in delivering product features and lead design sessions and code reviews.
- Guide technical conversations, foster learning and communication, and help teams achieve successful outcomes.
- Lead or contribute to cloud, DevOps, and AI modernization initiatives and translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, customers, executive leadership, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- Minimum 15 years of experience is required; an additional qualification states at least 10 years in software development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, and enhancing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Significant experience in systems engineering, analytical systems design, and implementation.
- Fluency in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Fluency in DevOps concepts and experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS and Azure, preferably in multi-cloud environments.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- 15 years of full-time education.
