Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of Integration and System Integrator Platform platforms.
- Define and promote architectural patterns and best practices across the engineering organization.
- Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for platform needs.
- Oversee integration with internal and third-party systems.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and address potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain documentation of architecture and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams on architectural principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in software development and architecture.
- Experience in building event-driven applications at scale.
- Familiarity with large scale messaging systems like Kafka.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience in building platform components using Java and SpringBoot.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, and integration methodologies.
- Experience in SaaS platform architecture or development.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with security and compliance requirements for enterprise software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience using AI tools like Augment, Cursor, or Perplexity.
