Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, development, and implementation of complex scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and related Salesforce technologies.
- Configure and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions and support Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
- Mentor Salesforce developers, conduct code reviews, establish development practices, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, architects, engineering leaders, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage release cycles and deployment processes using Azure DevOps, GitLab, Copado, or related tools.
- Maintain Salesforce platform health, security, governance, and data quality.
- Research Salesforce features, industry trends, and AI or agentic technologies and recommend relevant improvements.
- Advocate for practical AI adoption by using AI tools, sharing workflows, and helping teammates improve their usage.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise Salesforce solution design, architecture, and development experience.
- Advanced experience with Salesforce security, sharing, visibility, data models, Flows, and other platform capabilities.
- Experience with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud and Salesforce CPQ configuration and implementation, including product and pricing rules.
- Experience with Salesforce discounting, contracts, quote templates, renewals, and Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems and using middleware such as Workato or an equivalent.
- Experience leading developers through project and feature delivery.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications are required; Salesforce CPQ certification is preferred.
- An engineering degree or equivalent educational background is required.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, GitHub, Copado, large-scale Salesforce data management, and Jira.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability, and independent-working skills are required.
