Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases and regression suites.
- Lead functional, regression, UAT, integration, and performance testing for financial and trading applications.
- Develop automation strategies based on business and functional requirements.
- Report, track, and manage software defects and testing activities throughout the SDLC.
- Support release validation, application version upgrades, and test environments.
- Lead process improvements and promote QA and automation best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, coordinate cross-functional activities, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required.
- Proficiency in Playwright, VeriFix, FIX Protocol, Jira, and test case management tools.
- Experience designing and implementing automated test scripts with Playwright and VeriFix.
- Strong knowledge of FIX-based trading applications, financial markets, investment banking, and trading platforms.
- Experience with automation frameworks, regression automation, continuous integration pipelines, and converting manual tests into automated scripts.
- Experience analyzing complex systems, troubleshooting defects, and managing software testing activities.
- Experience with HP UFT, UAT, performance testing, regression testing, release management, or financial market environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives products is preferred.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
